About Us
The Wooden Marvel business is managed and owned by one person, that’s me. The aim of my business is to sell products that are less plastic oriented, more affordable and of a high quality.
What are my goals with this business?
The goal is to expand my stock and branch out into other desirable and sustainable products for individuals and/or as gifts, while still keeping prices varied so everyone has the opportunity to purchase a product. Having the option for locally sourcing would be great too.
What do I mean by “more sustainable”?
The products that I am selling will be predominately wooden with the aim of reducing plastic waste in time. I plan to do this by selecting products that are made mostly from renewable materials, reducing my plastic packaging as much as possible, and hopefully in the future find more locally sourced products.
What do I hope to bring you?
I hope to deliver products that others find as engaging as I do, while still acknowledging that all products do have a lifecycle and they potentially end up as waste. While what I sell are not perfect for waste and/or plastic usage, my hope is the products I choose to sell, will have less of an impact on the enviroment compared to the plastic dominated products that are currently flooding the markets.

Thank you first of all for taking an interest in my business and reading this far. My name is Spencer, I am currently 26 years old (subject to change). I left university after studying business marketing and management and recieved a 2:2. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t feel that I learnt enough about the practical skills of owning/ managing a small business as I was hoping for, and decided what better way to learn than by doing it myself.
This is where the business came into reality for me, I wanted to learn and prove to myself I can adapt and learn every aspect of running a small business, as this has always been my desire in life. It has already been a huge learning curve and I am looking forward to the future.
I also qualified with dyslexia while at university, so if there is any spelling or grammar mistakes I apologise.
